Cake co. partners with Preakness

The Original Smith Island Cake Company has entered into a partnership with Pimlico Raceway and Susan G. Koman by providing the official cake for Black-Eyed Susan Day — a yellow cake with chocolate fudge icing, decorated with a Blackeyed Susan, the state flower. Fifteen percent of all online and in-store sales of the cake, including those made at the Original Smith Island Cake Company café in West Ocean City, will be donated to Susan G. Koman for the Cure.
