John D. Constantine

J. Constantine J. Constantine BERLIN — John D. Constantine, 82, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, at the Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Massachusetts, he was the son of the late William Constantine and May Conrad Constantine. Mr. Constantine is survived by his wife of 33 years, Eileen.

John was a United States Navy veteran, retired from GM after 27 years of service as a supervisor and was a member of the American Legion. In his later years, he worked as a security guard at Old Pro Golf in Ocean City. He was a loving, loyal, hardworking husband and father who will truly be missed.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Constantine is survived by his children, John, Stephen, Deborah and Cheryl Ann; his stepchildren, Ronald, Rose, Debi, Elaine, Kathy and Patte; three brothers, Robert, Richard and William; one sister, Loretta; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, William, his stepsons, David, Joe and Norman and a sister, Mary.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 5, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Ocean City. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association, P.O. Box 35010, Richmond, Va. 23235. Arrangements are being handled by the Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin.
