Groovy tunes, bluesy beats will keep OC residents, visitors moving this weekend

OC fundraisers aim to draw awareness to women's breast health
(Sept. 4, 2009) Because breast health is such an important issue, organizers of the resort's annual Pink Ribbon Classic Series, a handful of local events designed to draw attention to breast cancer while raising money for the American Cancer Society, will not only present fundraisers in October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but throughout September as well. Pre-employment skills test set for Saturday in resort
(Sept. 4, 2009) The Ocean City Beach Patrol will conduct pre-employment physical skills evaluations on Saturday, Sept. 5, for the 2010 summer season. Pre-employment physical skills evaluations are held on the beach at Dorchester Street and the Boardwalk. There are no pre-certification requirements and experience in ocean rescue is unnecessary. Home sales continue rise through second quarter
Resort area also sees big growth in sales, as price drop begins to level off
(Aug. 21, 2009) For the first time in five years, existing-home sales have increased for four months in a row, according to the National Association of Realtors. Existing-home sales - including singlefamily, townhomes, condominiums and co-ops - rose 7.2 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 5.24 million units in July from a level of 4. Full Story
