A pile of dry towels placed on top of the clothes dryer in the laundry room of Happy Jack Pancake House on 26th Street ignited late Saturday night and started a small fire inside the restaurant around 10:30 p.m. Ocean City Volunteer Fire Company spokesman Steve Price said there was a lot of smoke but little fire, and the restaurant received smoke damage as a result. The establishment was closed at the time of the fire. No one was injured. Full Story
