Pennsylvania widow files $20M suit against town of Ocean City

Teen suspected in resort stabbing caught in Elkton
(July 3, 2009) Police have arrested a teenager in connection with a June 16 stabbing in Ocean City that sent an international visitor to the hospital. Seth Tyler Gillis, 17, was arrested in his hometown of Elkton, Md., June 24 and charged with first-degree assault. He was charged as an adult. Full Story
Ocean City arrest helps solve Pennsylvania burglary

BUSY BEACH
A sea of umbrellas and people line the beach of Ocean City as far as the eye can see last Saturday. With temperatures forecasted to be in the mid-80s during the Fourth of July weekend, the business community is optimistic the town will be bustling with visitors. Police identify body found in West OC woods in January
(July 3, 2009) The skeletal remains found in the woods of West Ocean City in January have been identified as belonging to a Berlin man who was wanted on child abuse charges at the time of his death. The Worcester County Bureau of Investigation said a DNA analysis of the remains determined the body was that of 39-year-old Richard Tarence Wright Jr. of Berlin. Full Story

RISSELL, HOROWITZ WIN GREEN TURTLE RACE
Approximately 220 runners take off from the starting line for the fifth annual West Ocean City Greene Turtle's 5K run/walk last Sunday to benefit the Ocean City EMTs. Ethan Rissell, 14, of Alexandria, Va., crossed the finish line first for the men. He ran the race in 16:13. Kelly Horowitz, 34, of Wilmington, Del., who finished in 20:04, was the first female (fourth overall) to cross the finish line. Full Story
