Free crafts designed to teach kids about Worcester's history
(July 3, 2009) The Julia A. Purnell Museum is sponsoring a series of heritage craft activities, during which kids can learn about history through handson projects. The first heritage craft activity will take place Wednesday, July 8, from 1-3 p.m.
The summer crafts are free with the price of general admission, 50 cents for children and $2 for adults. Kids should expect to spend about 15 to 30 minutes working on their projects. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
