CEREMONY CELEBRATES TOWNSEND CENTER EXPANSION
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Tuesday to celebrate Atlantic General Hospital's newly expanded Townsend Medical Center and Atlantic ImmediCare on 10th Street in Ocean City. The facility houses the family practices of Dr. Stephen Waters and Dr. Jason Clem as well as the services of Dr. Roy Cragway and the Atlantic ImmediCare urgent care center. Construction began in early February. On hand for the ceremony are, front row from left, Ocean City Councilwoman Mary Knight, AGH President and CEO Michael Franklin, Lillian Townsend (wife of the late Dr. Townsend, after whom the center is named) and Worcester County Commissioner Bud Church; and back row, Dr. Waters, City Manager Dennis Dare, Dr. Clem, Physician Practice Manager Joseph Pishtey and Dr. Cragway. THE PARKE ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD
The Parke at Ocean Pines Community Association, Inc. recently named its new board of directors for 2009-10. They are, from left, Secretary Tom Weber, President Mike Stevenson, Vicki McCormick (member at large), Vice President Dominic Tangredi and Steve Habeger (member at large).
