Eileen Marie Smoot

OCEAN PINES — Eileen Marie Smoot, 68, passed away Monday, March 30, 2009, at her home. Born in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Julius and Josephine Atchison.

She had been a realtor with Moore, Warfield and Glick in Ocean City and had retired after many years of service in rental management. She enjoyed traveling and socializing with her many friends in Ocean City and in Florida.

She is survived by her daughters, Juliet Smoot Wilkerson and her husband, Greg, of Melson, Md., and Valerie Ann Stevens and her husband, Fred, of Glenolden, Pa.; a sister, Theresa Stephan of Easton, Md.; two greatgrandchildren, DeAnna and Emily Stevens; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, at the Burbage Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to The Miller Children Fund, c/o Calvin B. Taylor Bank, P.O. Box 5, Berlin, Md. 21811.
