About Us

Ocean City Today, the most recognized newspaper in Ocean City, Maryland, was founded in 1993 and is owned by a small group of local stockholders. It is distributed throughout northern Worcester County, Maryland and parts of Sussex, Delaware every Friday and is available free on newsstands throughout the Ocean City, Maryland area with an average year-round circulation of 18,000 newspapers.

The Ocean City newspaper company launched a second publication, Ocean City Digest, in 1996. The Ocean City Digest is a paid newspaper of record for Northern Worcester County, Maryland, serving as the source of public notices and business information for the legal community and government. The newspaper is sold on newsstands in Ocean City, Ocean Pines and Berlin, Maryland and through mail subscriptions to out of town Ocean City property owners. The Ocean City Digest delivers an exclusive high-end market unmatched in the area.

Together, these newspapers are part of a group dedicated to providing residents and visitors in Ocean City, Ocean Pines, Berlin and other northern Worcester County Communities as well as portions of lower Delaware with fair, unbiased coverage of events and useful information.

The guiding principles of our newspapers are to be fair, ethical and service oriented. In that regard, Ocean City Today, and Ocean City Digest play a significant role in community affairs by supporting a number of Ocean City charities.
